Sai Sandesh

Indulal Shah Speaks

Introduction

With Pranams at the Lotus Feet of our Lord. Sai Ram to all, dear brothers and sisters. Before I begin on my summary and closing remarks, I would like you to note whatever is printed in your agenda papers. Let us take it as read, so that it goes into the proceedings.

Rules and regulations

As everyone was made aware of what Baba states on rules and regulations, do not fret against rules and regulations. Baba says they are laid for your own good. Regulations are the very essence of creation. The ocean observes its limits, wind and fire respect limits and bounds. The human body maintains warmth to 98.4 degrees in order to be free from fever. The heart has to beat a definite number of times a minute. Breathing has to be done 21,600 times a day. How then, Baba says, can the Organisation escape the prescription of certain rules and regulations?

Clear all doubts

I hope you will read all this when you go back at your first meeting, so that there aren't many questions on these rules and regulations. I have been given some questions that were raised this morning. Fifty questions have come to us. Some of them seek clarification about the rules and regulations. What we have decided is that we will reply to each and every one of your questions. You will have a copy of all the questions so you can understand what questions have been put forward by your fellow brothers and sisters at the Convention and what the Central Office's view is. But I have selected four questions that deal with spirituality for Swami to address. I will try to present them at His Lotus Feet. It is up to Him to cover the answers in the Divine Valedictory Message.

Take follow-up action

During these three days, various subjects on the agenda have unfolded aspects that you can take home with you for action, e.g. the aspect of individual spiritual Sadhana with the members of your family. I would like you to present the total summary of the proceedings to all the members of your Centre. This is a most important Convention, held for the first time with the Chairpersons.

Take responsibility
